About UnitsConverter
UnitsConverter.top is a free collection of online tools. You can use them without an account, without payment, and without sending your numbers to a server.
Why this site exists
Everyday questions — how many centimeters is a 65-inch TV, what is 180 pounds in kilograms, is 72 °F warm enough for a picnic — should not require an app install, a sign-up form, or a page buried under pop-ups. We built UnitsConverter.top so those answers arrive in one step, inside the browser you already have open.
The first tool is a client-side unit converter covering ten categories: length, weight, temperature, area, volume, speed, time, data storage, pressure and energy. It uses internationally defined conversion factors (1 inch is exactly 25.4 millimeters; 1 pound is exactly 0.45359237 kilograms) and computes everything with JavaScript on your own device. The value you type and the result you read both stay on your computer or phone.
What you can expect
- The tools are free, with no daily limits.
- There is no sign-up wall and no pop-up that blocks the tool.
- We write our own interface, our own conversion engine and our own content. We do not copy another product's layout, code or wording.
- The site is available in nine languages, translated with care rather than machine-dumped.
- If the collection grows, each new tool will follow the same rule: your data stays local unless a page clearly says otherwise.
Who it is for
Cross-border shoppers comparing sizes, travelers checking weather in Fahrenheit, students doing physics homework, home cooks rescuing a recipe written in cups and ounces, DIY builders measuring a room — anyone who needs a quick, accurate conversion without friction.
How it is built
The site is a small set of static pages served by Nginx. There is no database and no server-side processing of your inputs. Conversion factors come from international standards (NIST / SI definitions). Static pages mean fast loads and very little that can break.
